When you sign up for VoteBash or reconfigure your VoteBash account, you are required to provide your name, username / screen name, password, email address, gender and nationality. We may ask you for information when you place an order, like a mailing address, a phone number or credit card information.
We offer our Services to improve the connectivity and the sense of freedom throughout the world. Therefore, the majority of the information that you post on VoteBash is public. This may include the Voteleds with all the meta data involved (pictures, tags, buttons, questions, anwser, comments, updates, e.g.), any groups you create or are a member of, the people you support, any buttons you collect or any information concerning your public profile. Once you post your public information to VoteBash, it is also directly available throughout the Internet and can be searched for by most search engines or is made publicly available to other services instantly.
What you say and do publicly on VoteBash can be seen by anyone in the world.
You can add some additional information for the public to see. For example you can add a pin back button with you picture on your profile, additional background information in your bio, background pictures and a link that points to your home page.
We also may utilize your contact information to inform you about our Services or to send marketing messages to you. You can at any time unsubscribe from these messages by using the directions within these messages. If you send us an email, we reserve the right to keep your email for further progressing, to hold on to your email address and contact information to serve your matter. To post additional information is an option at your discretion.
If you send personal information to VoteBash, we may use that information to personalize your experience, to keep VoteBash safe and secure, to improve or maintain the functionality of our Services and to send periodic emails. We will not send out or use your email address and other personal or confidential information, such as names and addresses, for the sole purpose of sending marketing messages or notices without your consent. We may use or distribute your non-confidential or non-personal information for commercial or non-commercial purposes. We may also commercialy use information that cannot be linked to you personally or used for identification. For example when we remove your name or any other typical identifying information.

Because we value your privacy we have taken the necessary precautions to be in compliance with the California Online Privacy Protection Act. We therefore will not distribute your personal information to outside parties without your consent.
Your name and username / screen name are listed publicly on our Services together with your profile page and in search results. Your nationality or current country location is published publicly with our Services through a flag on your profile. Some Services, like citizen profiles and search, do not need any registration.
All registered users or citizens of the VoteBash community and Services may access or change their personal information associated with their account, their profile or email preferences at any time by visiting the Dashboard panel.
This website is not intended for use by anyone under the age of thirteen (13). Moreover, any individual under such age should not provide us with personal information that can be utilized for identification. We do not knowingly contact, market to, solicit, collect or use personal information from or about any individual under the age of 13. It is possible that by fraud or misleading practices we may receive information regarding to children under 13. In this case, we may need a notification from you. As soon as we reasonably verify the information, we will either obtain parental consent or otherwise delete the information from the account and / or our Services.
